By Eias Al-Ahwazi
Translated By Abu Ayman Al-Ahwazi
Preventing the translation from Arabic to Persian, and vice versa, in the Iranian courts, led to the inability of the Al-Ahwaz* citizens to solve their problems, and increased the obstacle of the people issues and finding solutions to their outstanding causes.
In addition, the Persian courts, rather than seeking to resolve the conflicts and issues with regard to Al-Ahwaz Arab people, making it more complicated when they gives the right to the Persians just because the Arabs are unable to defend their right; for their inability to speak the Persian language.
And lack of confidence in the Persian courts made the Al-Ahwaz people more adherent to the Rules of the clan; these incidents contributed to the consolidation of the role of this custom in Al-Ahwaz since the Iranian foreign occupation in 1925 and to this day.
The custom has no formal executive authority over the parties of the conflict, but has great moral admissibility. As long as the tribal judgement are being accepted by both parties, then they accept the provision as well.
For the "Word"** its own role and importance in the councils of custom, in the presence of tribal elder who is honorable to decide on the issues. If someone gives a "Word" at the Council will not back down his "Word" ever and whatever is the cost, otherwise he will become an outcast and rejected by everyone, and will become bad example for people, and have no social value after that.
And often the Tribe Head is being chosen by the tribe Board of supervision accurately, provided that the number of recipes available, the most important wisdom, balance, agility, courage, generosity and magnanimity. In addition to the of the tribe Heads, we find several great people in the field of tribal custom in Al-Ahwaz.
*Al-Ahwaz is the Oil and Gas rich country in the south west of Iran, which was occupied by Iran in 1925. The Iranian regime at that time executed his ruler who is named Sheikh Khazal Al Kaabi. Since then the Arab people of Al-Ahwaz live under the cruel and tyrany of the Iranian Occupation.
